Destitute Women Home

Empowering Lives with Dignity and Hope

A Safe Haven for Abandoned and Vulnerable Women

In 2013, Muskan Sansthan took another step toward empowering the marginalized by establishing a *Destitute Women Home*. This home provides a safe haven for women who are widowed, destitute, exploited, or victims of abuse. Recognizing the need for security and a fresh start, we offer these women food, shelter, and emotional support to help them regain their dignity and confidence. In addition to addressing their immediate needs, Muskan Sansthan focuses on equipping them with the skills they need to lead independent lives.

Our vocational training programs are designed to help these women become self-reliant. We offer training in trades like tailoring (Silai), beauty parlor services, and other marketable skills that enable them to start their own small businesses. By providing these opportunities, we empower them to break the cycle of dependency and lead lives of dignity and financial independence. This holistic approach ensures that women at our home not only heal but also thrive.

Currently, our *Destitute Women Home* is home to 50 women and over 25 children who live alongside them. We provide a nurturing environment for both the women and their children, ensuring they receive proper care, education, and emotional support. Muskan Sansthan remains committed to helping these women rebuild their lives and create brighter futures for themselves and their children.
