A Legacy of Compassion and Development

Muskan Sansthan is a 33-year-old organization dedicated to transforming lives in the southern part of Rajasthan, a region characterized by its tribal belt with over 75% of the population belonging to indigenous communities. The area faces severe scarcity of livelihood resources, making it one of the most challenging environments to work in. Muskan Sansthan’s mission is to uplift and empower these marginalized communities through targeted interventions focusing on children, women empowerment, elderly care, disability support, and livelihood generation.

Over the past three decades, Muskan Sansthan has made significant strides in its mission to create sustainable change. The organization has positively impacted the lives of more than 25,000 children by providing education, nutrition, and essential care, ensuring they have the foundation to build a better future. Muskan’s women empowerment initiatives have helped women gain financial independence and social recognition through skill development programs, capacity building, and entrepreneurship training. Additionally, Muskan has provided support and care to the elderly and persons with disabilities, ensuring that the most vulnerable in society are not left behind.

One of Muskan Sansthan’s key focus areas is livelihood generation. By training over 50,000 youth in various skills, the organization has opened new avenues of employment and self-reliance for the tribal communities. These training programs are tailored to local needs, equipping participants with skills that are not only marketable but also sustainable in their environment. Muskan’s holistic approach ensures that every segment of the community is touched, from children and youth to women and the elderly, creating a ripple effect that strengthens the entire region.
